Basic Cold Process Soap Class (Beginner Level)

Location: 2 Flipping Tails, 2829 S. Velasco, Angleton, Texas

Learn how soap is made; how to use scales for precise soapmaking; learn about the simple “no thermometer” room temperature technique and fume-free lye mixing; stick blender techniques for smooth and creamy texture; with written instructions for cutting and curing your soap.  Each student will make their own 2 lb. batch of soap, which is approximately 8 bars: a value of $40; printed class handouts/notes, reference materials, and additional recipes are also included.

All materials and equipment are provided - please wear long-sleeved clothing to class, with long pants (no shorts) and closed toe shoes (no sandals.)
